The Fused Silver Disc pin is punched from recycled sheet silver and soldered with a nickel pin stem and button back. The texture on the front is made by fusing scraps and swarf of my sterling silver fillings onto the surface. The edge is carefully beveled to catch the light. The surface is hammer finished for extra detail. The disc is only 3/4 of an inch wide.

All HKM Jewelry pieces are properly hallmarked for metal type and stamped for authenticity. This item is usually always available in all sizes and finishes, but you can place an order for an item that is 'out of stock' by requesting a customization, please allow 2 weeks to complete.

Packaging:
All HKM Jewelry will be neatly packaged in HKM branded boxes and 100% recycled shipping materials. If you need your item gift wrapped, please select that option at checkout and I would be happy to use colorful, seasonal gift wrap or an HKM branded purple gift bag. There is also an option to include a personalized note!

Custom Orders:
Do you have a special shell or beach find you'd like to have set or cast into a piece of jewelry? Send me a message or email hali [!at] hkmjewelry.com to start the process and receive a quote. Beach stone tumbling services can take up to 2 months. Custom orders can take up to 3 weeks to fabricate or cast. Be aware, the setting/casting of some more delicate specimens can be tricky and extra care is always taken with them, but sometimes there is failure. If I do buying not think a piece will make it without breakage I will let you know once I receive it and inspect it for fissures and cracks. Most beach stones, shells and corals can be used but it would be helpful to send a few to choose from.

Care:
All jewelry needs special care, even the “indestructible” kinds! My jewelry is meant to last for generations when proper steps are taken, but natural aging and wear can occur. Jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off each day, avoiding contact with makeup, lotions and sprays will prolong its finish. Keeping your polished silver in plastic is the best way to prevent tarnish when not being worn. Do not swim in chlorine or saltwater wearing your HKM Jewelry and it is not recommended to clean or wash dishes with chemicals that can breakdown the metal or stones. All Jewelry can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap and a toothbrush, a polishing cloth will restore shine and help with tarnish on your silver. Use ketchup to remove tarnish from items with stones, as the vinegar is more gentle on them than tarnish removing chemicals. Just cover your piece with ketchup, scrub with a toothbrush or your hands, then rinse and dry well. Do not use ketchup on Oxidized charms, as this will altar the finish.
