Vintage Large CROWN 1/2 GALLON JAR, Aqua Blue Glass Canning Jar Raised Crown Emblem, Mason Jar w/ Blue buying Tinted Glass, Farmhouse Rustic Decor

A perfect farmhouse decor item! This is a large antique glass canning jar with a lovely blue tint. Its raised lettering and logo are terrific, as is its rusted metal ring that forms part of the lid. It dates back to the early 1900s.

The front is marked (in raised lettering) Crown and bears the well-known Crown logo with the number 2. Beneath the logo is written, again, in raised lettering: Imperial 1/2 Gal.

The metal lid screws onto the top of the jar and holds the glass topper with a raised, etched starburst design.

The jar is large, measuring 10.75-inches to the top of the lid. Across the base, it measures 4.75-inches.

This item - inspire of it being over 100 years old, is in good condition. No chips or cracks in the glass. The metal ring is rusted, adding charm and age.

Add this to your vintage buying kitchen decor. Or use as lighting while dining al fresco by adding a string of fairly lights inside. Or fill with tall flowers. So many uses for this rustic and wonderful antique jar!
