Beautiful artwork decorates this antique powder tin. The stylized floral motifs are a marriage between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and the green and orange colors, with gold and black accents, are wonderful together. Once contained bath powder from Narcisse de Chine Vivaudou. Likely dates to around 1930. Worn spot on base, be sure to read condition issues below. Lid lifts off. About 5” in diameter by 2.75” tall.
CONDITION:
Some small areas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, small and minor dents and dings, some minor early rust, etc.
•SOME NOTICEABLE WEAR, mainly a LARGE WORN SPOT ON BASE.
•Some white-ish wear on one side of lid and some more noticeable soiling in an orange flower.
•Colors seem a bit darkened and muted overall.
•Light-ish wear inside, seems like some powder residue, almost impossible to eliminate completely.
•Darkening patina on bottom, some minor rings.
•Opens/closes fine.
The tin is empty.
Not for food use. Any props not included.
