Product code: Chicago Lincoln Park Zoo buying Oil Painting -18x12in Giclee Print

The original Chicago oil painting titled "Spring Scene" is 36x24". This limited edition paper print is available half size, 18x12". This painting is of the Lincoln Park Zoo walking trail overlooking the north side of the city in May. May is my favorite time of year as the weather is nice, it's green, and we have several great months to come! This Lincoln Park view is also interesting as features both the John Hancock and Sears (Willis) Tower in the skyline, but not from the usual vantage point where they are most prominent.

The 18x12" print ships unframed. It is ready to be framed in a standard 24x18" frame you can get most retail stores even Walmart. Frame shops like Hobby Lobby or Michaels - can cut a mat for you in your color choice (in this case a cool grey is nice). Be sure to leave 1/4 in on all sides except the bottom (1/2 or 3/4" to show the signature and edition).
OR
You can also order this with a mat pre-cut to fit a 24x18" frame in soft greyish beige as shown.

Giclée printing is currently the highest quality standard for printing single or limited edition prints on paper or canvas. The term "giclée" (pronounced "ZHEE-CLAY") is a French word meaning "to spray." Giclée prints are created by spraying millions of droplets of ink onto your choice of fine art substrates.

Unlike lithographs and serigraphs, giclée prints have undergone extensive third party fade testing. While the predicted display life depends on many variables, giclée prints made with wide-gamut pigmented inks are estimated to last over 80 years without noticeable fade.

High grade, smooth finish paper is used for prints, picking up all the detail of the original canvas. Only 100 are produced in this series. Each paper print is signed by me in pencil in the lower left-hand corner with title in middle and edition number in the right. My limited edition prints are imaged and printed by Osio Brown Editions.
