Product code: Vintage Russel Wright Teapot - white, crazing, American Modern, Mfgd by Steubenville from 1939 to 1959 - buying mid century modern, MCM, pottery

buying This listing is for a vintage Russel Wright American Modern teapot. We are by no means an expert on Russel Wright, but based on our internet research, we offer the following information. The teapot is made out of earthenware, which is more fragile than porcelain or stoneware, and are thus often found with chips, etc due to the fragility. This teapot and lid are white in color. The teapot is marked on the bottom with "Russel Wright Mfg by Steubenville." We are not sure of the exact age for this piece, but we know that Russel Wright / Steubenville produced the American Modern line from 1939 to 1959. The dimensions of this teapot are 4-1/2 inches by 8-1/2 inches by 4 inches tall. It is in good to fair vintage condition with LOTS of crazing throughout the entire teapot. There is some discoloration to the bottom 1/3 of the teapot, we assume this is from use. There are two orange spots/marks on the teapot. The bottom of the teapot handle looks separated or slightly cracked but NOT totally separated or repaired. We are not sure if this is just typical of the manufacturing process or is actual damage. There are some cracks on the lid, but they do not seem to have been repaired. We aren't sure if they are actual cracks that go all the way through, or just more crazing. Please be sure to see all our photos for details. We have additional Russel Wright pieces, here is a link to them: https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/shop/rust2retro?ref=seller-platform-mcnav&search_query=russel+wright

We do our best to estimate the actual shipping cost. We will ALWAYS refund shipping overages back to our customers at the time of shipping.
