Who Needs Donuts? Mark Alan Stamaty 1973 First Printing Hardcover
Who Needs Donuts? (1973) by Mark Alan Stamaty is a zany visual extravaganza. Sam wants donuts, ""not just a few but hundreds and thousands and millions"" of them. He heads to the big city where he finds them-and much more-in large, bustling scenes bursting with absurd details. A street sign says, ""No swimming here to corner,"" a subway train crosses high above the street on a clothesline, and they discover several donuts under the stovepipe hat of Abe Lincoln, who's out walking his dog. Jam-packed pages full of surprises and a vintage 1970s message that love is all you need will delight children, young and old.
Hardcover, no dust jacket. Scraping and tears to top and bottom of spine. Light staining of some of the pages, name written in pencil on inside front cover. Bumping to corners. Still, all in all for its age, it is in good readable condition.
Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description.
I try very hard to capture any flaws or issues when I take the listing photos but on occasion I may miss something. Please forgive me if I do! Always feel free to ask for more photos and/or ask questions if you would like further details before purchasing. Almost all vintage books, hardcover and paperbacks are going to show signs of their age and usage that impact the condition. But condition can be somewhat subjective; what doesn't bother me (like tanning or foxing) might bother you so buying please contact me if you have any concerns with your purchase before leaving a review.
