1950s Vintage FRENCH AMOR Reading Eyeglasses, gold buying filled with browline design. Quality SIL glasses made in France.

Vintage Amor eyeglasses with classic mid century browline design in dark brown on gold filled frames. Perfect for reading or close up work.

These vintage glasses are marked AMOR and have the 'SIL' (Société Industrielle de Lunetterie) logo on the bridge, always known for their quality made glasses. The frames are gold filled. The right arm is marked Amor.

The glasses are in very good condition overall. There is some patina of age around the lenses. The lens have no scratches. The prescription is for helping to see close up and is not super strong. We would say about a 1.5 as reading glasses. If wished, it could be possible to replace them with your own prescription or clear glass.

These glasses are vintage from the 1950s. Eyeglasses before the 1970s generally were smaller than what we are used to today. Please check measurements carefully.

Arm Length buying (hinge to curve of arm): 9 cm / 3 1/2 inches
