Enchanting Mid Century porcelain, fine Bavarian chinaware: A vintage dish or rather wall plate – made in the 1950s – German Schumann Arzberg Bavaria porcelain – the Wimmelbild-like décor makes one time-warp to the 1950s – depicted is a humorous office scene from Germany's Wirtschaftswunder era. A (of course) male boss is sleeping at his desk while his (of course) female secretary allows her collegues to spy. Under the busy picture the German saying "Wer andre jagt, wird selbst mal müde!" (= "Those who hunt others get tired themselves") – the shape of the plate in typical 1950s manner – golden rim – ready for wall hanging (there are two eyes at the back).
Manufacturer: Carl Schumann Porzellanfabrik in Arzberg, Bavaria/Germany.
Artist/Design: Unknown.
Material: Porcelain. Multicoloured glazed. Gilded rim.
Marked under the base: Green Crown and Lion mark, "Bavaria Schumann Arzberg", under glaze form number "0180 21" and a under glaze "P".

Very good vintage condition = no chips, no flea-bites, no cracks, no hairlines. Absolutely minor traces of age/use.
