Table runner Nghiem-Quynh is made with the fabrics of Vietnamese HMong tribe. The fabric is handmade using hemp plant grown at Northern Vietnam then hand woven, dyeing and embroidered with cross-stitching technique. It is a long process to complete the fabric itself.

***More information of TRADITIONAL PATTERN OF HMONG PEOPLE

The decoration of patterns on fabrics to make clothes is an important thing. ----Wax technique---

Indigo dyeing many times also create different colors for the pattern. White patterns are dyed 1 to 2 times. The pattern is painted on white cloth with white color ng. Light blue pattern, after dyeing indigo 1 time the Mong people will wax on the pattern layer and dye until satisfied

Another popular technique is embroidery. The technique of using thread colors does not require absolute accuracy. Because after dyeing indigo, the girls start embroidering the drawings that they want. H'Mong girls often embroidered with the letter "x" or embroidered colors of each other.
