Vintage wooden spools/bobbins from mills that were closed over 50 years ago. These spools/bobbins were wound with wool yarn or thread and fitted into a large wooden shuttle to weave fabric on a giant loom. They have also been referred to as a pirn, spool, spindle, and bobbin.

With a beautifully rich patina, these can be displayed as primitive folk art. They are also useful for winding and storing collections of antique laces and ribbons. Very decorative Decor. Many chose to use these as candle holders and in Holiday Displays of all sorts. Wonderful Home or Office Decor.
