Rainbow Bright White Baby Afghan Crochet Blanket buying (26" x 21") Handmade

All babies are special... but those born to mothers who have experienced a previous miscarriage are known as Rainbow babies. This blanket is in honor is all of those special babies that have arrived to fill lives with joy.

Note: All afghans come wrapped in a yellow bow and protective plastic with tag ready for you to write the name of the special one it was made for! They also have caring for instructions. Why yellow bows? We are a military family and this is our way of supporting all the loved ones who are deployed until they come home.

This special afghan by designed by my students to raise buying funds for our Biology Classroom. They select yarn colors (online) and decide what stitch I should make. I then order the yarn and get to work. I show off the finished product, we do the math (area) and come up with a price.

I teach over 200 beautiful souls at a low-income neighborhood in Miami, FL. We are a 100% magnet school so our students have to maintain a high academic work ethic in order to succeed. They do now have the means to purchase much needed basic supplies, much less pay fees to fully fund a science education so I provide 100% of what is needed and 100% of the revenue from this shop goes right back into our classroom.
