-----------------
DESCRIPTION:
-----------------
Absolutely stunning unique retro seafoam green drip glaze decorative ceramic dish.
The seafoam green/blue glaze over the avocado green base makes it an elegant eye-catching statement piece that will surely be the anchor of your Mid-Century Modern collectibles, additionally I can see this vessel at the perfect container to showcase succulents or serve candy, nuts, fruit, and/or as an empty MCM Home Decor accent piece.
-----------------
MEASUREMENTS:
-----------------
15” L x 3.25” at Widest x 1.5” High
-----------------
CONDITION:
-----------------
In excellent vintage condition, with one tiny barely visible chip on the inside edge but other than that no cracks, damage, or noticeable crazing.
-----------------
ABOUT:
-----------------
On the bottom, the word "Canada" and the number 681 are stamped into the ceramic.
With research, I was able to find out that mark was used by the Canadian Ceramic Craft Company (CCC) out of Collingwood Ontario
CCC was started c. 1960 by Mr. Dennis Tupy who immigrated to Canada from Czechoslovakia in 1951. Dennis was the first mold maker at Blue Mountain Pottery. CCC was reformed into Rainbow Ceramics (see entry for Rainbow Ceramics)

A NOTE ABOUT BUYING VINTAGE:
-----------------
Most vintage/antique items will have minor wear due to their age and or years of service, which I believe adds to the charm and patina of these items. So you can expect that there will often be small condition issues, which I do my best to accurately disclose and photograph in the listing.
But while I try hard to describe our buying items accurately, I am not an expert and it is possible that a true collector might see something that I do not.
If you are particular about your vintage items, please ask questions before you buy. I want you to love your item as much as I do.
