Communism and Christianism Analyzed and Contrasted buying from the Marxian & Darwinian Points of View, by Bishop William Montgomery Brown
The book that nearly banned "Bad Bishop" Brown as an Episcopal clergyman.
The book that nearly banned "Bad Bishop" Brown as an Episcopal clergyman. Brown -- who was a Bishop within the Episcopal Church, and was vicar of Grace Church in Galion, Ohio at the turn of the 20th Century -- is best remembered as the first Episcopal bishop to be tried for heresy since the Reformation, and the first of any creed in America to be deposed for heretical teachings. He later became a bishop in the Old Catholic Church. Brown wrote many controversial books espousing his personal views on the church, Christianity, Marxism, race, science, history, and Christian Supernaturalism.
