This is a very attractive hand-colored postcard showcasing the original University Hall on the Michigan campus. The domed building was erected in 1872 on South State Street adjacent to the present Angell Hall. In 1950, the building buying was demolished to accommodate the Angell Hall expansion plan. Vintage is 1900-10. It is postally unused and in excellent condition. Comes in a 6 x 8 antique-style black easel-back frame with 1-color mat and attached triangle hanger for wall mounting. For the old school alumnus or fan. Makes a great anniversary or birthday gift. A hard-to-find vintage collectible!
We have an extensive collection of vintage Michigan and Ann Arbor postcards from 1900-1949. All are in unused condition. If there is a particular campus scene, building or structure that you are looking for, we probably have it and would welcome your inquiry.
