This beautiful handmade bike basket is manufactured by craftsman living in Bolgatanga and surrounding villages in Africa.

Our bike baskets are woven using elephant grass colored with non-toxic fibers and vegetable dyes to generate all natural, modern colors after being dried in the sun. The leather straps of our bike basket are naturally tanned using local seeds and red corn. Leathers are naturally tanned using local seeds and red corn.

Our bike baskets are a great way to carry such as your tote bag, a purse, grocery bags, or a dog as Yorkshire Terrier.
Baskets are easy to install.You can even use it as a regular basket when you arrive at your destination, or just remove it when you know you won't use it.

Each basket has a unique hand-woven quality, so our standard sizes may slightly vary. Its dimensions are approximately;

Baskets are shipped through DHL Express Ghana. A tracking number will be provided.
Please do not be surprised when you receive your basket. Baskets are flattened and wrapped in sacks when shipping by courier. This does not damage the baskets: they are resilient and durable. When you unpack your basket please simply follow forming instructions below:

Forming instructions

1. Simply dampen your basket in cold water or spray some cold water. If any avoid soaking leather.
2. Place the basket on a flat surface and use your hands to reshape the basket to its original appearance.
3. Let it dry completely. Do not keep them in wet places.
4. When it dries, it will once again be perfect!

Maintenance instructions

Keeping our maintenance suggestions in mind, you can use your eco-friendly basket for years,
1. In case of soaking, sun-dry your basket or leave it to dry at room
temperature.
2. Make sure to keep your basket in the shade to prevent color fading.
3. Easy to clean, stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
