Vintage California Snow Ball Perpetual Calendar - Wonderful and Working Kitsch Retro Office / Desk buying Decor

Perhaps the only state where a buying teeter-tottering sailboat would be both a metaphor and an apt description, this rather fabulous California "snowball" includes a working perpetual calendar. The colorful plastic device is stamped "Made in Hong Kong" on its bottom, so we're guessing it's from the 1970s or 80s. The liquid filled orb has sparkles which float, when the ball is shaken and has a sailboat surrounded by palm trees which move back and forth. The calendar date knobs all work smoothly.
The snowball orb is approx. 4" tall and its base is 3" square.
