Handmade Crossbody Purse, Bag, Vintage Woven Textile, Vintage Floral Trim, Denim buying and Cotton Webbing Adjustable Strap, Pockets, Magnetic Snap

This listing is for a crossbody purse / bag. I was able to make two from the piece of vintage woven textile fabric that was repurposed from a table runner. They are fairly identitcal and are for purchase separately. They have a 1960's vibe.

The woven fabric is done with blue, yellow, and rust colored cotton yarn. Someone along the way hand colored the diamond shapes to give it the colorful pattern that it now has. I have washed it and the color was unchanged. buying They did a nice job with it. I paired this woven fabric with a vintage wide blue floral trim across the top on both the front and the back. Above the floral trim is a rust and gold colored braided trim. The bottom edge has the twisted fringe from the ends of the weaving.

One side of the purse exterior has little hand tinted antique brass leaves and stamped circles hand stitched on for further embellishment.

The purse closes at the top interior with an antique brass magnetic snap.

This purse interior is lined with a very beautiful vintage heavy weight cotton fabric that was hand block printed with nomadic people, animals and decorative borders. The cotton fabric is a warm tan color with the motifs stamped in rust, indigo blue, golden yellow, and black. One side features a large slip pocket done with striped upholstery fabric. The other side features a zip pocket lined with the same fabric as the slip pocket and closes with a black antique brass zipper.

The strap is made from 1" wide light tan woven cotton webbing with dark blue denim fabric stitched to the top side. The strap is sewn down on one side of the purse and slides through an antique brass rectangular ring on the other. The strap is adjustable with an antique brass slide buckle.
