This beautiful figurine is reminiscent of a typical English afternoon at teatime. The Teatime figurine features an elderly woman having just poured a cup of tea from her teapot. Her posture shows she is leaning forward to hand off the full cup to someone.

The detail in the teapot and cup and saucer is extraordinary!

She is wearing a pleated blouse with a beau brooch at the neck, her skirt is beautifully creased to show the movement of her lean forward.

The figurine is a Royal Doulton, HN2255, from the Golden Years series.It was designed by Mary Nicoll and was issued in 1972. It was retired in 1995.
