Vintage USA Art Pottery Monterey Jade Green Blue Gold Glaze Accented Owl with Unglazed Body and Feathers

This is such a striking piece. It is unsigned, but the so unique in its curves, shape and mix of textures.

The swirled shades of green and buying blue glaze, rimmed in gold are visually arresting. A wonderful owl, characteristic of the Midcentury aesthetic.

It's in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Because it is unsigned I have no way to date it specifically, but I am assuming it was made in the late 60s, early 70s.
