Roman buying Glass Earrings with Amethyst and Sterling Silver

Roman glass earrings with amethyst and sterling silver. These earrings are truly spectacular! I got them as a gift way back when people just started using Roman glass in jewelry - they are much less refined when looking at their back side then others you would find today. They measure 1 1/2" from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring and they are a little buying over 1/2" at their widest point. Total weight is 5.88 grams so they are just under 3 grams each.
