Vintage 1960’s Pair of Childs buying Western Cowboy Boot Spats slip over a Shoe. Red Yellow Patriotic Stars Eagle 3 Arrows Design for Boy or Girl

Vintage 1950's Pair of Childs Cowboy / Western Boot Spats - Red / Yellow Vinyl with Patriot Eagle Holding 3 Arrows Design. This nice pair of spats measures approximately 9'' tall by 8'' wide (laying Flat) and are in very good vintage condition with some minor play wear showing. Rare to find these in good condition like these. You just slip them over your shoes. There made from heavy vinyl and have a strap that goes under a shoe and buckles to the other side to hold them in place. There are some numbers inside of one of the spats (two numbers on opposite sides) one is 56 and was is buying W105. It could also indicate W1056 and woven into the pattern - These nice spats will display nicely and would make a great addition to any toy or western collection. If buying for a child to wear - when you slip a small foot into it - and it shrinks then to only be about 6 inches when opened up - I would suggest a child - that wears a shoe size more like 5 or 6. Might work okay - smaller and maybe a 7 - but max - I think. Also - shoes back then were smaller - and didn't have thick soles like a lot of styles kids wear today - so take that into consideration a flatter shoe as well to slip into them.
