Book shows wear ~ please refer to photographs.
The hardcover is maroon. The spine is a little faded.
Pages and binding are tight ~ paper has normal browning due to age.
Paper is 'warped' ~ however, it seems to be the norm for this particular edition. I looked at identical books online, and I see the see the same paper 'warping'.
In the crevice of two pages there is a paper defect. Please note it is not from water. It does not penetrate to the opposite sides of affected pages. It's more than likely part of the manufacturing process. (please see photograph number4)
A couple of small tears ~ please see photograph number 5.
This book just smells like an old book. Not musty or overpowering.
Where did the book come from?
~ Inherited from my family. I have a few more I will sell, and few I will keep!
