"OKA" (OKA) - 1956
This vintage razor was produced on the TRUD VACHA factory (ТРУД ВАЧА). These razors were manufactured from the 1954 until 1968 as the majority of the ZTV razors. This razor is one of the first produced from the factory considering the manufacture year.
Originally buying, this model is called after the OKA river in central Russia, the largest right tributary of the Volga. Originally, the ZTV factory had a variety of "River" models such as VOLGA, KAMA and OKA.
There were only two types of this model: one with the dutch point made from 1960 and one of the most rare ones with the Square Point like more earlier OKA models before 1957.
This model is rare due to the age, the condition and the square point which was mostly produced for the barber's needs in the Soviet Union in the mid 50s.
The quality of material used in production and overall work are much higher the regular STIZ factory blades and gave a really good shave.
The steel used in this razor is X05 (in accordance with the state standard).
The overall condition is great with nice mirror polish, the razor has no chips or cracks, all lettering is clear. The razor is professionally sharpened and come shave ready (passes easily the HHT and gives a great shave)!
The razor is 16mm and is suitable for any type of stubble (which would be removed easily in good hands)!
The razor would be an ideal choice for a novice or a professional and would be a nice addition to the collection.
The razor comes in the Original ZTV Case!
