This 6 qt Nordic Ware Dutch Oven is cranberry red and plays on the history that Nordic Ware established in 1946 when Dotty and Dave Dalquist created their Northland Aluminum manufacturing company and their brand Nordic Ware. Nordic Ware produced heavy cast high quality cake pans and created the concept of the Bundt cake. This dutch oven has a bright red that is still vibrant on both the pot and lid. The lid has a beautiful silver knob that shows the Nordic Ware logo. On the underside of the pot you can see interesting detail in the circles that cover the bottom and surround another Nordic Ware logo at the center. Please see photos as this pot and the nonstick coating on the inside has marks and wear from years of use, but is still ready for years more of delicious creations. It is just over 13 inches wide including both handles, just over 10 inches wide not including both handles, just under 7 inches tall not including the knob on the lid, and 7.75 inches tall including the knob on the lid.
