TALL, DOUBLE GLASS PANEL JEWELRY BOX - VINTAGE c1990's
This vintage jewelry box is large enough for all of your jewelry treasures, perfect for EVERYONE on your gift list!

MEASURES 11.5" W x 4.5" D x 12"H

OUTSIDE - The color on the outside resembles a reddish, cherry stain buying. Lovely, contoured shape on the front of both the top & the bottom. 2 side panels open out to the sides with silver tone hinges on each side & a silver tone knob in front to open. Each panel has a glass insert, framed in silver tone. There are 5 drawers in the center with silver tone knobs. It sits on a stand with carved grooves around the front & sides. Bottom underneath has velvet circles in the corners to prevent scratching. There are no stamps or labels on this jewelry box, but the design resembles those made by Mele, circa 1990's - 2000's.

INSIDE - There are 5 drawers, all lined in cream colored velvet, each measuring 2.75"W x 3"D x 1.75"H on the inside. The top drawer has a ring section with 4 slots. Each drawer slides on its own track to prevent scratching and they are held in place with a notch in front to prevent them from spilling the contents.

The 2 side panels open out to the sides & close securely with magnets at the top. Each side has a necklace carousel at the top with 8 hooks for hanging jewelry & measure 9" from hook to the bottom. The back of each section has a full-length mirror (2.75"W x 10"H) The bottom & sides of each panel are lined with the same cream-colored velvet. There are brackets that hold the glass on the back of each panel (can be removed to clean class).

GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION - This heavy, sturdy jewelry box was kept nicely. The only signs of wear are on the outside, some small surface scratches & some tiny dents on the top, edges & front of the drawers. These are not readily noticeable unless you're looking for them. The 2 mirrors and the 2 glass inserts are in perfect condition. The cream velvet is in great condition, no rips, tears or marks (velvet on the bottom of the right side had a small stain, I glued a new piece of velvet over it).
