Vtg buying Virgin Mary & Baby Jesus Figurine/Religious Catholic Statue/Ceramic/Hand-Painted/Christmas Decor/Large 8”/Vintage

This is a vintage (1960s-1970s), religious, homecraft, hand-painted, ceramic, Virgin Mary & Christ Child figurine. It is a large piece measuring approximately 4 inches in depth by 5.5 inches wide by 8 inches in height. I believe it is a home-craft item similar to the “Holland Mold'. It is signed with the initials M K on the bottom. The artist obviously was a cut-above-the-rest as this is an exceptional buying example of home-craft. It features a highly-reflective, pearlized glaze finish throughout accented with 24Kt gold halos on The Virgin Mary & Baby Jesus. The hand-painting shows attention to detail especially on their sweet faces. A real beauty in excellent condition with no flaws. At Christmastime I would decorate my mantel with a collection of all different religious figurines like this one. Please be sure before purchasing as this item is NOT returnable. (10/23/22)
