This cast iron kettle is traditional Japanese design, it has a buying natural finish with handwoven hemp rope around the metal handle. Cast Iron is believed to improve the flavor of tea and to soften the water. In very good vintage condition, no rust.
A great little teapot for brewing tea or for kitchen decor.
