This Yarn Holder Lazy Susan was made by myself using Figured Walnut wood from a local saw mill. It features a recessed bearing set which allows yarn to unspool without getting caught when knitting or crocheting.
Some yarn holders are made using a nylon washer or CD between the top and bottom pieces of wood. I feel a bearing set is superior in every way for providing a smooth rotation without any friction. Long story short, you will not have any issues when yarn is unwinding.
My mother in law asked me to make her one about a year ago, she felt buying it was much easier to knit or crochet when using it and Loves It!
Measures 7 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches across. Sanded to a smooth finish with several coats of sealer applied.
Each yarn holder is made to the same size, but due to wood grain and color they may vary slightly from sample picture.
Rubber non skid bumpers on the bottom
Available in various wood species including walnut, curly maple, cherry, Purple Heart, padauk, quarter sawn white oak, and bloodwood.
