Echo buying Show Stand, Monitor Stand, Riser for Desk and Home Offices

This beautiful walnut .75" thick stand can be a great addition to any work and fun space as a monitor stand or Echo Show Stand.

It is 9.5" wide by 8" deep. The legs are 2.25", making the top of the stand 3" tall. The back of the storage area is open for cables and other access needs.

All the edges are rounded over for more pleasant handling.

The legs include non-slip material on the bottom to prevent slippage and scratches to your surface you set this piece on.

The wood used here is purchased form a wood mill in rough form and machined meticulously to the final size using jointer, planer, table, saw, and router. Despite its simple look, a lot of time gets put in to each piece to produce the end results. I spend a lot of time to match the patterns when making pieces over 6" wide as I want the results to look natural.

All the pieces are finished in a very systematic way to ensure absolute best appearance. This is my proven procedure I have been following for years with great results:

1. All the surfaces are sanded with 100, 120, 150, 180, 220 grits of sanded paper using random orbit sander.
2. The ends are sanded with additional 320 grits as the ends absorb more than the rest. Having one grit level more buying equalizes the ends with rest of the piece
3. Next, I apply a special sealer which is an ideal solution for achieving a natural look on beautiful woods like walnut that stabilizes the grain for next steps. I let this dry at least 24 hours
4. If darker look is desired, I apply "Java Black" stain to give walnut much darker look than the natural look. Some applications may require darker look than others. This step depends on customer's desires. I let stain dry at least 48 hours before proceeding to the final step
5. I apply four coats of clear coat by hand rubbing to bring out the beauty of walnut. I sand 320 grits between each coat. Each side, edges, ends receives same treatment. It takes 12 hour for each coat to dry. The whole process takes over 4 days.
