Woods, Thruscross buying

A large one colour lino print. The design has been developed from drawings and photos of a walk way through a local wood that I frequently visit.

The bold black patterns produce an interesting design of a walk through a wood, the stencil shapes of moths add to the mood of the scene.

The image is transferred onto a large piece of lino, various tools are then used to cut the design. Being a large image it is then printed through the press.
