~This Victorian-style necklace is my own original design. The center features a set 1" or 25mm Czech faceted doublet gem with a very vintage set W. German pale purple and cream glass cameo atop the gem. I removed the foil back of the amethyst gem so that you can see right through the amethyst gem front to back. The very dainty 1/16" wide Figaro-style link chain is U.S made and antique gold plated in RI. It is a new chain, and I love the look of this dainty profile chain with my vintage and antique pieces. It looks like it buying could be an antique chain. I made a chain extender opposite the 14kt. gold-filled spring ring clasp so that you can adjust the chain to be able to wear it at 16", 18", 20" and also 22" for more wearing options. Just clip the spring ring clasp into any of the 5 round gold plated rings on the extender side of the chain. To me, this is a very stunning elegant necklace. This will be a piece that you can hand down to a close relative or a good friend if you can bear to part with it later on. I can make earrings to go with this necklace, as I do have more of the very vintage W. German cameos. It will just take me a little while to locate the cameo in my vast vast jewelry supply storage, but I will eventually.
