A beautiful 3 piece set of Old Country Roses consisting of the Mini Creamer, Open Sugar Bowl and Tray/Underplate. Made by Royal Albert of England. The backstamp dates this to 1962 when this pattern was first designed. Please Read Below how this Pattern Began.
This set is in wonderful condition with minimal utensil marks and No Chips, Cracks Flea Bites or Crazing. A bit of over painting of Gold on the Creamer's Handle. Shown in Last Photo.

Designed by Harold Holdcroft in 1962, Old Country Roses fine bone china dinnerware was inspired by a typical English country garden with flowers in bloom. Little did Holdcroft realize he was creating what would become one of the most recognized and celebrated fine bone china dinnerware patterns in the world . Old Country Roses dinnerware is truly one of a kind. The pure white bone china features a "Montrose" shape -- a flamboyant, curvaceous traditional fluted design with twisting, curling handles that makes a beautiful table setting.
