Very cool Samsonite Shwayder Bros. Inc. Streamline series from the 1950's. I believe this is call the ladies vanity/over night case. The color is called Colorado brown. It measures 15" long X 7" W at the bottom and 5 1/2" at the top. 10" high. Marbled vinyl covering with rubber edges. Metal trim is painted in a close matching color. The interior has a light pink/rose satin lining. It has 2 compartment covers. One elastic hooks on. The hard cover has a snap. A slip pocket on the hard cover with the original mirror and tissue paper. One compartment has 3 elastic pockets. The elastic is still nice and stretchy. I consider this piece to be in very good condition for it's age. It does have some condition issues. The exterior has mostly just minor surface scuffs and rub wear on the rubber trim with some black scuffs. On one side the vinyl is lifting on the edge (photo 10). buying The latches have a lot of tarnish/oxidation. Key hole but no key. The interior lining has some light stains and there is wear on the top edges where the metal is showing through. The last 2 photos show both issues. It also has a faint storage odor. Nothing too bad and I am airing it out. I ship same or next business day.
