A beautiful handmade and kiln fired western cross pendant made of solid pure copper dangles from a rosary necklace with gorgeous petite blue Czech beads and black lava beads.

The handmade rosary chain is made of .925 sterling silver plated wire with sparkling blue faceted Czech glass beads and small black volcanic lava stone beads. A pretty little heart is stamped with the artist's logo on the backside adding a lovely detail.

Storing Bronze and Copper Jewelry
When taking off your copper jewelry after wearing it, wipe the pieces clean with a soft cloth before storing them. This should be done to remove any traces of oils from your skin as they may speed up the tarnishing of copper.
Since the tarnishing process is facilitated by the oxygen in the air, it is advisable to keep your bronze jewelry in a plastic bag to slow down the formation of patina. You can buying also put an anti-tarnish strip in the bag.
Make sure you wipe your copper jewelry dry before storing it: Leaving it to dry in contact with the air makes it easier for patina to form.
Copper will tarnish with time. The tarnish is a greenish layer of copper oxide formed when copper comes into contact with oxygen and is called patina.
