This Zambian Amethyst, faceted, bracelet has been made by meticulously wire-wrapping each 8mm round gemstone with 935 Argentium Silver. Together with a 925 Sterling Silver bolt ring clasp, it would look beautiful on the wrist all year round. It is easy to wear and will make a perfect gift for a loved one or as a well-deserved buying treat for yourself. Our gemstones are a natural product and are all hand-cut, so there may be some slight differences between individual stones.

Amethyst, one of the birthstones for February, is the name given to purple Quartz and some believe that its name derives from the Greek word ‘Amethustos', ‘A' meaning, ‘not' and ‘Methustos' meaning, ‘to intoxicate'. Believed by Ancient cultures to have protected against drunkenness.

Amethyst is considered a symbol of peace of mind and it is believed by some to hold the power to change anger to tranquillity and is used by crystal healers to revert negative energy into positive energy. It is popular for its healing and meditative powers and is said to purify the mind, body, and spirit, helping to realign the body chakras.

Argentium 935 Silver is purer than Sterling Silver and finishes to a whiter, brighter shine which is comparable to that of fine silver.
