This is an antique English bread board.

Beautiful carving to the edges. Unusual.

It's made from Sycamore and this pale wood was commonly used for buying bread boards. It has a waxed finish.

No woodworm. Slightly warped but still sits flat without rocking.

A crack to one edge as shown. Plenty of cut marks.

These are useful everyday items that are also fantastic on display or for food photography.

The bread board is 29.7 cm in diameter.
