Complete set buying of 8 third edition (1998) hardcover reference books titled "The Encyclopedia of Popular Music" edited by Colin Larkin. These books are former library, but reference section where they weren't permitted to be checked out, and for that reason are in outstanding condition. Each book features an attached blue ribbon bookmark. They do have library stamps across the outer page edges and inner page markings that can be seen in the photographs. A fabulous set for the musically inclined.

***With older or previously owned books, I feel it's important to note that having lived for many decades on a bookshelf, I have no way of knowing what they may have been exposed to. If they were smoked near, came from a home that used a wood-burning stove, had pets, etc. Paper has a way of retaining odors, and while we did not notice any harsh or musty smells to speak of, it's understandable that everyone has degrees of sensitivity to such things.
