Pink and Gold Rose Dangle Earrings- Hand Crocheted Long Drop Post-Large Flower and buying Fern- Multicolored Floral Jewelry-

These pink and gold rose dangle earrings are actually post style earrings, sitting snuggly on the earlobe. They are hand crocheted using both 100% cotton string and a heftier nylon cord. The combination of these two materials give the earrings an unusual yet feminine look. The rose is hand crocheted using a common rose motif, hand painted with high quality fabric dye and then carefully embellished with gold foil. The blue tendrils are crocheted using nylon kumihimo cord and are stitched to the rose. The earrings are then adhered to a stainless steel post.

Do to the nature of my process each earring and each set will be slightly different, making them truly one of a kind. The color of the rose ranges from a hot pink to light pink and the tendrils are a light cornflower blue. I did my best to replicate the colors but there may be discrepancies as monitor and display settings vary.

I use fine lace quality string and tiny steel hooks to create these pieces. So they are smaller, tighter and more difficult to create than modern conventional crochet. This method makes it lightweight and delicate, perfect for jewelry.
