Enamel Earrings – Drop Dangle Earrings – Marigold Yellow Orange Enamel & Sterling Silver feature w Silver Hoops buying – Handmade – Boho style

One of a kind enamel drop earrings. These will look great with both casual and dressy outfits.

The enamel components are a rich marigold yellow and orange. I used opaque colors layered over each other which result in unusual variations of the base colors as well as adding a sterling silver stamped component to add contrast.

To make the earrings, I file and form the copper metal base to ensure a buying pleasing curve and formed the front surface with a stamp. I did the same with the feature sterling silver components using a punch stamp. For the enamel components, I added two layers of counter-enamel (black) on the reverse side for strength and durability, then several layers of colour on the front. This adds an organic look to the final pieces. These pieces have 3 layers of color and effect on the front. After enameling, I hand-make the sterling silver drop components and hoop wire and assemble.

Each combination of colors and the outcome from the kiln-firing is unique.

They are about 2 1/2 inches total length from the top of the sterling silver ear-wires to the bottom of the enameled component.

Enamel is glass fused to a base metal, so please treat these earrings as precious and handle and store carefully so they last for decades!
