Thick antique earthenware jar for freshly filled cream from about 1880 - 1900.

It is decorated with a motif depicting a milkmaid with milking stool and bucket, surrounded by a scrolling multi-function bar with the dairy name. It has a clear glaze to protect the printed advertisement.

The vessel with wonderful patina is in sensational condition.
