"Here Comes Santa" This art quilt depicts Christmas Eve and buying Santa is putting toys under the Christmas tree. The house is made of pieces of old quilts and vintage fabrics. Curtains on the windows with a candle in one window and Santa and a Christmas tree in the other two. Looks like the kids have made a snowman to greet Santa under a snow covered tree. The Christmas tree and snow covered tree are hand stitched, as are the berries on the wreath and greenery and the decoration on the snowman. I added a cold looking moon to enhance the quilt. The wreath and greenery are hand dyed bits of old crochet. The snow is vintage fabric from an old dress. The sky is hand dyed scrim.

The piece measures approx. 9" x 10 3/4". I have added a hanger on the back but it can easily be removed if you prefer.
