The "Vesta" Etch-pattern, #1041 Line 75, was marketed by the Lotus Glass Co. in the early 1930's. Some records indicate they were available from Lotus beginning in 1932 through buying 1938, but the records are few and incomplete after over 80 years. Lotus, incorporated 1912 in Barnesville, Ohio, was a unique provider of fine glassware, especially stemware and dinnerware, however they never actually made their own glass, but purchased a variety of glass blanks from most all of the fine glass factories along the Ohio River…some of those include: Fostoria, Cambridge, Duncan Miller, Heisey and Paden City to mention a few.
The cordials you find listed here are rare and wonderful examples of Lotus's high quality etching process. Each and every one of these lovely crystal cordials (single lot of 2) are in beautiful vintage condition without any cracks, chips or damage. They are 4 inches tall, weigh 1.5 oz. each and hold 1 fluid oz. You will find that they are perfect for your collection or to just admire with a fine liqueur.
