Vintage folk art dancing figures. This old dancing pair with jointed limbs at the shoulders and hips is hand carved. The faces are primitive which is common in antique shimsies.

These wonderful primitive folk art figures which are for sale appear to be part of a larger piece.

I don't have the date for this but wooden jointed characters such as this were handmade in the 19th and early 20th century as entertainment.

The buying figures stand 6 inches high and together measure 4.5 inches wide.

This primitive folk art is in very good condition.....the joiints move easily the figures are intact but as I wrote earlier it appears to be part of a larger piece..
