Red Riding Hood buying Gloves

I hand knitted these gloves in my own design using Shetland yarn. They are hand knit in stranded colourwork so the fabric is a double layer for extra cosiness. These are a fusion of patterns from different traditions. I cast on with an Estonian 2 colour braid with a Finnish pattern on the cuff. The palm of the hand has a Scandinavian pattern while the back of the hand has a traditional fair-isle eight pointed star. They come in 2 sizes - Ladies medium which has a 8"/20cm hand circumference and a total length of 9.75"/25cm or a Ladies large which has a hand circumference of 8.5"/22cm and a total length of 10"/26cm. As they are made of pure wool they must be hand washed only. buying
