A Pair of Southwestern Marble Sombrero Bookends, c. Mid 20th Century. This Pair of Bookends of would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. Each Bookends is nicely sculpted, showing a traditional "Sleeping Sombrero" motif. The solid marble shows stunning red hues throughout, the pair makes for the perfect contrast piece. The underside of each Bookend is unsigned or marked.
Condition:
Each Bookend was exceptionally well made. A series of small chips and a buying hairline crack is shown along the top of one bookend, we've circled this area in our photo gallery to reference. Each Bookend is permanently fastened to its base, although it will freely spin along the base.
