This listing features a beautiful and finely detailed LANG Sterling Horse Head in a Horse Shoe Pin.

The pin is a lovely depiction of a horse with ears up straight, flowing mane, etched silver on the cheek and true to life veining on the face and gorgeous eye detailing. The horse shoe framing the horse's head is shiny silver. The pin is multi dimensional adding to its overall beauty. The handsome face of the horse is beautifully done in shining sterling silver. If you look closely, you can almost see a smile on his face. The pin has a rolling C clasp closure that is in perfect working condition. The pin is in excellent vintage condition. The pin has a rich patina to it that enhances the overall beauty of buying this item. The approximate dimension from left to right 1 5/16". The approximate dimension from top to bottom is 1 5/8". The approximate depth of the pin is 1/4". The back of the pin is stamped Sterling with the maker's mark, Lang.

Lang - produced jewelry from the 1940's - 1970's.

The Lang company made figural sterling silver jewelry. The company signed their silver Sterling, Lang with the S in the word Sterling being a stylized Swan.
